China's economic development becomes rapid since the implement of reform, but the gap among regions widens at the same time. Experts and scholars studied the reason from several views and gave explanations from natural conditions, capital, labor, institutional factors, socio-cultural and other aspects. From the perspective of female human capital, the article studies the factors which cause the regional gap. Firstly, analyze factors which impact female human capital on the basis of literature review, expound the mechanism that how female human capital promote economic growth from the aspects of labor force, consumption, tertiary industry development and family education, construct a theoretical framework to analyze the relationship between female human capital and economic growth. Secondly, contrast the female human capital in eastern and western regions and give a general analysis of the differences. The analysis shows that female human capital in eastern part is superior to that in the central and western regions. Thirdly, test the annual data on the basis of theoretical analysis, the results found that female human capital has a positive correlation with economic growth, and female human capital which arise from education must be accumulated to a certain level (middle school education and above), then will have a significant positive impact on economic growth, and the promotion coefficient which affected by female human capital variables is larger in central and western regions than that in the eastern. Finally, make strategies of reduce regional differences in economic growth from the point of view of female human capital. In this paper, the conclusion is that: there has an interactive relationship between female human capital and economic growth, neither in quantity nor in quality, female human capital in eastern part is better than that in central and western regions, by reducing female human capital differences between eastern and western regions, particularly enhance the female human capital stock and the quality which are affected by the higher education level in central and western regions will be a great significance to narrow the differences in economic growth of regions.
