Since the 1980's, the global financial industry has undergone tremendous changes and a very important change is the collectivization, globalization and the versatility of the financial institutions. In most developed countries, the division operation system was completely ruptured, the business boundaries between financial institutions were cancelled, and the cooperation between securities , insurance and banking succumbs to a deeper level. Quite a large number of super-financial groups obtained their origin in the 1990's. They were able to provide their customers around the world with ONE-STOP financial products and services including banking, securities, insurance, trust, leasing, and asset management. At present, insurance companies in China's market are inclined to diversify, grow larger and become collective. Fierce competition and fast development of insurance companies make collectivization of insurance companies a very important characteristic of development of the domestic insurance industry. However, there remain many problems in the property system, internal controls and construction, as well as the operation mode. Therefore, to develop the collectivization in financial management, we should determine a suitable operation mode based on the situation in China and adjust and perfect the process of collectivization in financial industries. This thesis studies China's insurance companies and discusses their operation mode of collectivization management. It focuses on major insurance companies' operation modes and delimits the approaches for them when focusing on collectivization of management. Policy recommendations are made based on the systematic analysis of China's major insurance companies and their main mode of operation.
