Research On The Operation Management Mode Of China Export & Insurance Corporation

Export credit insurance, as a means of international trade promotion, has a nearly hundred years of history. As speeding up of the process of the world economy and trade globalization, export credit insurance has also been a tremendous development. At present, more than 60 countries around the world has their specialized export credit insurance agencies, export credit insurance cover the total amount of world trade accounted for more than 10%.If an export credit insurance institutions maintain balance of the profit and loss as long as a certain period of time it shall be considered as export credit insurance, not export subsidies. Based on such provision, export credit insurance has gradually become an effective measure for governments to support the export and protect foreign exchange security.Export credit insurance has a strong political color in our country. However, it is increasingly clear that international credit insurance market trends in commercial operating the original operating mode of export credit insurance have some changes in the recent years. China, now in an economic orbit-changing period, as the short history of export credit insurance, the development of the export credit is relatively backward. First of all, this paper reviews the domestic and overseas related researches. Overseas researches start earlier, and domestic scholars'researches mostly make a thorough study on Chinese export credit insurance problems through using foreign scholars'ideology for reference. Secondly, this paper discusses the development course and experience of overseas trade associations. It depicts the emergence and development of export credit insurance institutions mode, introduces tow current classic management modes of domestic and overseas export credit insurance institutions, and summarizes their successful experience. Thirdly, this paper analyses the operation actuality of Chinese export credit insurance companies from aspects of business status, management status, financial status, etc. respectively. Eventually, drawing lessons from successful experience of international management modes, this paper raises policy suggestions on perfecting Chinese export credit insurance companies'management mode based on the analysis of Chinese export credit insurance companies'status.
