Aging phenomenon becomes a big problem in China,but the correlative aged industries are limping.The community is finding the solutions of the problem in a positive way.This thesis explores the issue of aged industries into the Chinese culture background."QiuYe Group",a group contains middle-aged and the elderly is to provide a new perspective for the development of aged industries.Some western developed countries and Japan which entered into aging society ahead of time provided a lot of valuable results and experiences in the design methods.However,the aged consumer market in China is always in a state of "hidden",we need a clear grasp for the structures of aged consumption and the elderly,on this basis to explore how design to intervene in the aging industry and promote their development.For their features and connotation,this thesis selected the developing areas Nanjing as the main sampling sites,Beijing as the sampling sites for the auxiliary,used a questionnaire survey,field research and depth interviews to carry out a more comprehensive survey of the life and consumer willingness of "QiuYe Group",to aim to provide reliable data,and have a real understanding to the current consumption trend and the lives of the elderly.It is a starting to explore research and development ideas of aged consumption and aged industries.The conclusion of this thesis is:"QiuYe Group" is a real consumer group in China's consumption market,their cultural status and economic conditions, consumption patterns and aesthetic tastes will form a meaningful formation with reference to the new pattern of aging industry.To know the living conditions of the elderly and the diversity of consumer demand is the first step to expanding this potential market.
