In recent years, China's economy is growing rapidly there is fierce competition of R&D employees in the communications industry. The efficiency and quality of the enterprise is related to the employee's performance. Objective, faire and effective performance evaluation is the important part of fulfilling efficient human resource management in communications enterprise. The performance evaluation is not only related to the compensation, promotion, training, rewards and penalties of employers, but also determines the competition and development of the enterprise. So it's necessary to the set up the performance evaluation system, which is fit to the R&D employees in the communications enterprise. How to establish and perfect of the performance evaluation system is a key problem.The article chooses R&D employees of Company ASB (Chengdu) for its targeted research case. The article integrates the theory and also practice in its research on performance evaluation. First, it elaborates some performance evaluation theories; secondly, it describes the existing performance evaluation status in Company ASB (Chengdu), then analyses the problems and also the reason in the current system; thirdly, based on the analysis of target people's work content and work characteristics, it summarizes the detailed evaluation indicators of R&D positions, and then calculates the indicators'weights by AHP. Based on these two parts, a certain improvement, an evaluation criteria reference, is made on the performance evaluation system. Finally, the article makes some suggestion on how to regulate the whole process and on how to implement the performance evaluation in Company ASB (Chengdu).The significance of choosing R&D Employees as the targeted research case in the article is that the work process of these people is very hard to control, and the result is also very hard to evaluate, which makes evaluation hard to quantified, thus, it leads to the current unreasonable evaluation situation. The author hopes that this article can provide some solutions for R&D Employees performance evaluation in Company ASB (Chengdu).
