| Inevitably the world economy is tending to be globalization. Any company who wants to survive and develop continuously should not be isolated from this trend. As Most of the Chinese enterprises are on the bottom of the value chain in the worldwide divisions of manufacturing, while struggling with the long term recession of the macroeconomic right now, the Chinese household appliance manufacturing sectors is going through the restructure of the development strategy to the high and new technology industries and high value-added processing and manufacturing industries. The goal of the supply chain, so-called the 3rd source of company profit, is to maximize the company profits.This thesis introduces some company examples which are successful in global sourcing, and some basic theories about the Microeconomic and Macroeconomic regarding the global sourcing. It analyzes the procurement status of the ABC company. It demonstrates the necessity and the possibility for ABC company to do the international sourcing from different aspects. It indicates that the purpose of implementing the international sourcing is to reduce the purchase cost and enhance the core competitiveness for the company by internationalized sourcing deeply and widely, consequently accompanying the strategy transform for the company business. With the thought of internationalized sourcing, this thesis specifies the resources and strategies for the main materials of ABC's purchasing source. It summarizes the basic procurement strategies tailor-made for the development of ABC as below: diversifying the procurement, building up the international procurement platform, strategically allying with the leading suppliers,sharing the procurement services with value-added to the society, and so on.On all accounts, the internationalized sourcing is not a goal but a kind of method. We must improve the efficiency and avoid the risks while putting it into practice to serve the company development strategy. |
