Employee Assistant Program (EAP) originated in the United States, is an important tool of human resources management in modern enterprises. The core thought of it is to help staff with their spirit and psychology problems in professional psychological counseling way. It has already widely used in numerous enterprises in advanced country at present. With the development of Chinese economy, more and more enterprises' superintendents realize that there is the inevitable relation between psychology health of staff and enterprise's achievements. That how to help the staff to solve the psychological problem has already become an important component of morden staff management. But so far only the minority enterprises which are large and powerful implement EAP. The hotel industry is one of the earliest industry that has connection with international management and most rapidly developed profession in China. As a result of thousands of years' cultural traditions in China and the special nature of the industry itself, the staff engaged in the industry have to face various kinds of pressure from work and daily life. The problems such as ccupation discrimination, the health, the family relation, the career development cause the high rate of the staff loss. How to improve staff's physical healthy, heighten the satisfaction of staff and reduce the staff loss already become the target which the numerous superintendents must face.Although Chinese enterprises have already adopted many measures to reduce the staff loss and heighten the satisfaction of staff, little of them think about spirit and psychology measures. It is almost blank to use EAP as a system. This article uses investigation method, based on the correlation theories and practice experience in international companies, has determined EAP application constituent and pattern initially in the Chinese hotel industry.First of all, in the preface of the article and the literature summary part, it mainly contains background, research meaning and application background, research significance and the goal, the introduction of the frame and method. At last this paper makes some principle studies of EAP.Secondly, introducing the necessity as well as the feasibility of the EAP application in the Chinese hotel profession. Analysing the pressure of present human resources management of the hotel as well as the serious results it caused, describing the use of EAP implement. We can get the result that it is time to use EAP to alleviate and even solve the healthy problems of the hotel staff. With analyzing the system's rationale of EAP, the culture fusion between China and the West as well as the Chinese Hotel development phase, we get the conclusion that China's hotel profession has already had the mature condition for EAP application.Final part is main part of this article. It has studied the application system of EAP of the hotel industry in our country from the four aspects: EAP implementation's condition, the implementation principle, the implementation content and the pattern in the form of interview and the questionnaire survey to the domestic three brands of hotel.The conclusion part mainly makes a summary to this article and the forecast to tendency of EAP application in the hotel of our country.
