With the lean production methods promoting gradually, more and more Chinese enterprises hoped that through the application of lean production, they can use less time, less inventory to product the highest quality, lowest cost, fastest delivery of the production in the competitors in order to maintain or enhance their competitiveness.LuoYang Copper Company is a typical manufacturing enterprise. In the process of production and management, it faced the problems of the management, production, process management, quality management and logistics management. With the rising costs of raw materials and the industry competition, LuoYang Copper Company faced the crisis which has become more serious. Thus, it needs to upgrade the company's level in production and management. So the company decided to adopt the lean production m. The author has been involved in this work and decided to write a master's degree thesis .This paper attempts to use the lean production theory combined with the project background of LuoYang Copper Company's lean production, to study the environment of LuoYang Copper Company' implementation of lean production and the main contents have been studied. In particular, this paper reviewed the theory and practical application of the lean production. It analysised the relevant theories of lean production deeply. It discussed the LuoYang Copper Company's industry environment, and it's situation of production and management. It studied the implementation of lean production in LuoYang Copper Company detaily.It put forward the ideas,goals, planning, the main elements and security system.Combined with the specific projects in the implementation ,it studied how to implement 5S management, how to create and promote the pull system and how to get through the logistics bottleneck in the implementation to move. At last,it summaryed the implementation of LuoYang Copper Company.The achievements has been overviewed,as well as the experience and problems.
