Group Of Hard-line Cobalt Powder Production Line Technological Transformation Project Economic Evaluation

In Zhuzhou Cemented Carbide Group Corp. Ltd. ( Abbreviated as ZCC Group), the traditional technology which was put into used since the current cobalt powder production line was built is still being used at this moment. The key equipments are getting seriously ageing, the performance is backward, the technology control level is relatively low, and the products quality is not stable, it is difficult for the products to meet the customers' more and much higher requirements. The whole current production line has many existing problems such as small capacity,high energy consumption,low extraction yields,high labor intensity,high dust concentration,bad production environment,many hidden safety dangers,narrow and crowded production sites and so on. All these problems had been seriously hampered the market competition ability and profitability of ZCC Group. At the same time, as ZCC Group is located in the centre of Zhuzhou City, we should pay much more attention to environmental protection. Therefore, this paper proposes ZCC Group to carry out technical reconstruction for cobalt powder production line and stop the old hydrometallurgy production line.According to the project evaluation elements, this paper does a comprehensive analysis and research for the technical reconstruction of cobalt powder line in ZCC Group from technicality,economy,sociality and so on. Through using the method of value analysis.decision-making analysis and risk analysis, mainly adopting quantitative analysis, combining quantitative analysis with qualitative analysis, the paper does a deep and detailed discussion on the project necessity,market prospects,project construction content,investment programming,fund financing,economic benefit evaluation and uncertainty,risks for the production line reconstruction project of cobalt powder in ZCC Group. This paper specially focuses on the evaluation of financial efficiency indexes, and also has a detailed description for the market prospects,the changes of resource and raw materials,technology and the influence of environment and brings forward some corresponding countermeasures aiming at the possible existing risks. Combining various analysis results, the paper shows that this project will bring a remarkable economic benefit. low pollution to environment and low running risks, this project should be put in practice as soon as possible.
