| With the large number of successful applications in foreign enterprises that of a variety of areas, the importance of industrial engineering disciplines has been recognized by more and more people. Currently, some of the domestic large and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises have set the industrial engineering as an independent department that responsible for the on-site management, and this has got better effectiveness. But for most of the small and medium-sized enterprises, the introduction of industrial engineering disciplines is relatively difficult. Firstly, what the industrial engineering discipline is not easily understood by them; Secondly, they do not think that some small improvements can really make contributions to the development of an enterprise; Finally, in their opinion, IE work is relatively easy and there is no need of specialized people. These ideas seriously hindered the promotion and application of industrial engineering disciplines in most of the domestic small and medium sized enterprises, which making the enterprises unable to keep up with the pace of contemporary industrial development.Based on the TJJD rubber powder factory, and with a large number of depth research of the company’s production situation, this paper identified a series of problems in the process. Then, combined with the requirements given by the company which named "minimum input for maximum output", using industrial engineering knowledge, such as5W1H, ECRS, SLP,6S and so on, as well as the corresponding mechanical knowledge and software, such as AUTOCAD, Pro/E, the paper redesigned and improved the production line. The paper mainly did the following three parts of work: First, analyzed the problems of the scene, then optimized the internal logistics of the company, and finally, designed a new plant layout program; Second, analyzed the main problems in the production process and the production line, improved the process route of the rubber power production line, the equipment utilization, and also the production environment of the scene; Third, introduced6S management concept to the company which laid a solid foundation for the company’s long-term development and growth.The successful application of industrial engineering disciplines technology in the traditional rubber powder enterprise shows a good example of the application and promotion of industrial engineering disciplines in domestic small and medium-sized enterprises which also laid the foundation for these enterprises’ development. |
