Analysis Of Regional Differences Of China's Basic Old-age Insurance

During the development of our endowment insurance system, there are many differences among different regions due to lots of factors such as economy, politics, history and national culture. Because of this, we must construct a reasonable basic endowment insurance system in order to narrow the existing regional disparities and guarantee China's basic endowment insurance system develops healthily.This paper will use regional endowment insurance as the angle of view, then analyze the present situation of China's basic endowment insurance in different regions and find out what cause it. On the base of quantitative analysis of the relevant data, I will show the status of China's basic endowment insurance in different regions from four aspects: coverage rate, support capacity, the level of payment and the substitute rate of endowment insurance wage. Next, discuss what lead to the differences of the basic endowment insurance under the existing policy from the view of economy, institutional maturity and population structure, support of governments' public finance and the historical or cultural factors, etc. Also, seek out which are the most important factors. By using the canonical correlation analysis, make a comparative study of the status and result of various provinces and municipalities'endowment insurance. At last, bring forward some proposals and measures targeted on promoting China's basic endowment insurance system developed sustainably.
