Chinese Property Insurance Needs Analysis

Enterprise Property Insurance is an commercial property insurance for the enterprise to manage its own property risk.According to research abroad,by purchasing the enterprise property insurance the enterprise can effiently reduce the cost of bankruptcy , solve the issue of principle-agent, reduce the corporate tax burden and improve the Enterprise Risk Management ,thereby enhancing value of the enterprise.This Thesis aims to discuss and investigate the enterprise's insurance demand of our country from both theoretical and emprical angles.In the theory,the thesis probes into reasons why enterprise purchases insurance and analyse the insurance effect upon the contradiction settlement and risk management in the enterprise.In emprical analysis , the thesis collects data at province level from 1999 to 2006 , models are tested to inspect the relationship between enterprise risks and enterprise's demand for property insurance. The thesis explains unenough demand for enterprise property insurance and put forward reasonable proposals.
