Management Research, New Product Development Based On Concurrent Engineering Tobacco Hunan

Since U.S. Defense Advanced Research Bureau first put forward the concept of concurrent engineering in 1987, concurrent engineering has caught the attention of the world's business and academics in recent years, and had obtained a rapid development. The serial development mode couldn't keep up with the changing times, and its shortcomings have been increasingly highlighted. While concurrent engineering has become an indispensable factor in new product development.From the aspect of the combination of theory and practice, this paper has studied and analyzed the new product development & management mode of China Tobacco Hunan Industrial Co., Ltd. This paper first analyzed the research status of home and abroad about the new product development mode, then expatiated the related theories of new product development, and then analyzed the status and characteristics of China Tobacco Hunan Industrial Company's new product development & management mode, and made a correlation analysis on its new product development & management mode through the methods of interview, questionnaire survey and others, lastly in accordance with these questions, used the related theories of concurrent engineering,from the perspective of organization, technology and management,designed the company's new product development & management mode. This kind of new mode for China Tobacco Hunan Industrial Company is favorable to improve the performance of the new product development, and has important application value to improve its competitiveness.
