In recent years,the market economy in China is developing at a high speed while financial activities are flourishing as never before.China's banking industry has entered an era of rapid development.However,with development of internet industry,all domestic banks are confronted with great impact brought by internet finance.The development of banking industry is confronted with great challenges.In order to deal with these rapid changes,the banking outlets,as the foundations of banks to do business,are transferring to intelligent outlets,to improve work efficiency and customer experience,to satisfy the increasing service demands.The bank self-service terminal is the main tool for constructing intelligent outlet.In recent years,the amount of self-service terminals purchased by banks are increasing,and the demands for diversification and individualization are increasing.Meanwhile,the prospected period for product R&D and supply are becoming shorter and shorter,while the demand on the product quality are becoming higher and higher.In order to meet such market demands,all banking self-service terminal manufacturers both domestic and abroad are introducing advanced technique and newly-developing design idea in the R&D process,to enhance the competitiveness in the market.It can be seen from the developing trend of self-service terminals in markets domestic and abroad that all products R&D are transferring to flexibility and customization.However,the current R&D are partial to series design,which seldom focuses on such factors as manufacturing and maintenance,finally leading to such problems as long R&D period,low manufacturing efficiency and more quality problems.Therefore,it is necessary to optimize the development and design method for bank self-service terminals,which connects product development and manufacturing and maintenance more closely,and takes into consideration that product life cycle management during the development process,shorten the development period and improve the design quality.In terms of this,this thesis proposes that it introduces concurrent engineering method in the process of new product development and studies on the application of this method in the new bank self-service terminal product development.The main contents and research results are as follows.(1)The thesis introduces the concept and theoretical basis of concurrent engineering and the development process of new product of bank self-service terminal after introducing concurrent engineering by using its advantages in shortening product development period,improving product quality and lowering cost.This thesis discusses relevant theories and applications on work breakdown and proposes the breakdown structure and workflow of the development of bank self-service terminal product.(2)Take the intelligent teller machine of the company IF as an example,the thesis discusses the work of product development and analyze the work relations among differentdevelopment phases.The thesis analyzes the current development status of new product of IF,identifies and judges the problems,analyzes the concurrent engineering status and demands of new product development and proposes solutions of concurrent engineering for bank self-service terminal development.(3)The thesis conducts research on the concurrent engineering method in new product development,proposes the team building method for concurrent and integrated product development and build its team structure,construct concurrent and collaborative development environment,discusses product data exploration,extract manufacturing and maintenance data,and formulates the development workflow for serialized product.(4)The thesis makes an analysis on the application of the concurrent development solutions for bank self-service terminal product,elaborates the workflow of making a new development plan,introduces the realization process of concurrent development,and studies the monitoring method for late phase of plan.By evaluating the plan and verifying the cases,the plan can reach the goal to shorten the product development period and improve design quality.The thesis gives an analysis and summary on the results of development workflow optimization.
