Currently, along with the deepening of China's social reform, the open extent of economy has been higher and higher. The trend of the world's economy integration is more and more obvious, and the external environmental elements, including economy, politics, science, technology and culture, have become more and more unstable. Meanwhile, the market competition comes to a intense level, along with the fast development of the Chinese insurance industry, the open extent of insurance industry enters a brand new phase as well. The entities that are involved in the market competition have been more and more, however the monopoly trait of the primary market leader is very apparent. As one of the leading companies in the Chinese insurance market, CCIC should take its geographic and coordinating advantages to face the present external environment, set effective strategies in terms of its own internal conditions, establish the core operational idea of making profits, and endeavor to the positive development space in the future.This article sets CCIC as the study object, taking the combined pattern of theoretic analysis and practicing analysis, uses models of PEST, Industrial Competitive Power Analysis, SWOT to analyse CCIC, and brings forward the feasibility evaluation of CCIC's developing strategy under the current external environments and internal conditions, according to the company's latest developing goal, and eventually determines the company's corresponding specific tactics.The article believes that, in terms of the current situation, CCIC should adopt the strategy of transformation, i.e. seize the external opportunities, focus on the operations in the direct property and casualty market, accumulate the powers and exert its own advantages to look for greater development.For the specific implementational tactics, the company should concentrate on working strength in the aspects of market development, product innovation, service information technology, reinsurance, branding, and human resource management.
