Logistics Outsourcing Decision Analysis

With the challenge of increasing competition and the diversification or individualization of consumer's demand, more and more enterprises begin to be absorbed into the domain that they are good at and concern the cooperation and connection with other enterprises. Logistics outsourcing, as a strategy to utilize limited resources, to reduce cost and to upgrade the competence, has been a trend adopted by enterprise.China's logistics outsourcing industry is still at the early stage of maturity. Though it develops fast, many problems have been exposed during the process of its operation. The service provider cannot all satisfy the enterprises, and the logistics outsourcing enterprises have no scientific method to chose or evaluate the logistics provider. Therefore the stability of their mutual relationship will be threatened.As one of the activities that form the supply chain, the partner choice appropriate or not enormous influences chain each member's vital interest, and affect the increment efficiency on the chain. But choosing appropriately or not is mainly decided by the accuracy on the candidate partner evaluation or not. Based on the above-mentioned conditions, the dissertation gives a general commentary on the research carried out in relevant fields at home and abroad for selecting the logistics provider.First, this dissertation has summarized the current situation of study, including those related to the driver, the decision-making method and the risks of logistics outsourcing, by both domestic and foreign scholars. Then the theoretical basis and the rationality of logistics outsourcing will be discussed from multi-angles. Then, the author figured out the logistics outsourcing differences between china and other countries. On this basis, from a quantitative perspective, the author analyzed the problems of present stage of China's Logistics Outsourcing in details. Then it has established the index system of evaluation, it has analyzed the present stage logistics provider choice method; and brings forward the logistics provider selection of gray relevancy model. It determines the index-weight based on the theory of entropy, which make the result accord with the fact and reduce the effect of artificial subjective factors on the selection results. Finally, it has conducted the real diagnosis research.
