In recent years, Seniors Tourism as an important tourism market has been more and more concerned by academia. Our seniors'tourism market has great potential both from a market perspective and seniors travelers themselves, and the feasible conditions are ripe for development. However, with the foreign seniors'travelers researchs, domestic scholars just provide general theories on the development of the tourism market, there is serious homogeneity for seniors tourist product, and the absence of further discussion and innovation. In the empirical research, most also lack of market research and theoretical research. With the more and more attention for the seniors'tourism market, this study chooses Xi'an seniors travel constrains factors as the direction of research, and brings forward seniors travel constraints scale. It currently complements the Theoretical study of tourism constraints factors and improves the consumer behavior model. Integrated in the subject and based on qualitative and quantitative research methods, this study makes more systematic and comprehensive analysis, inspections and descriptions for seniors'tourism constraints factors. It is aimed to understand the different constraints on the Seniors Tourism in the role of different levels of constraints and to practice their inspirational significance to tourism. In this paper, based on the foreign"hierarchial model of leisure constraints"and "leisure constraints scale", we revise and internally build an index system of Seniors Tourism constraints scale, thus make tourism factors questionnaire, and analyse through factor analysis and multiple regression analysis. According the survey data, we analyse the preferences and traveled behavior characteristics for different background seniors'tourism consumers, and tourism constraints in the difference factors. Finally depended on all of this, we respectively provide some recommendations from the seniors group itself, the relevant government departments, tourism enterprises, planning, services, and other aspects, in order to promote the exploritation and development of seniors' tourism market. In this study, the following conclusions:(1) Seniors tourism groups are different from the general population on their travel plans, travel time, information channel selection, travel costs, travel form and manner, destination choice, travel purpose, which appear unique travel preferences characteristics. There are significant differences between different personal age, marital status and seniors travel purpose, but no significant difference on gender, education, occupation and monthly income.(2) After orthogonal rotation of the datum from the "Tourism constraints scale" index system, seniors'tourism constraints factors are classified into three common factors:intrapersonal constraint, interpersonal constraint and structural constraint. Data from the multiple regression analysis showed that intrapersonal constraint and structural constraint have a positive correlation with senior's tourism interests, but interpersonal constraint does not enter into this regression model; While three common factors all enter into the tourism will regression model, and there is a positive correlation between both. In comparison, the relationship between intrapersonal constraint and seniors travel psychology is most significant.(3) By the theoretical analysis and empirical analysis for Xi'an seniors tourism constraints, the main constraints involved in travel in turn are intrapersonal constraint, interpersonal constraint and structural constraint, ordered by progressive influenc. By the contrast of the domestic research on leisure constraints conclusions, we found that the impacts of the three travel restriction factors involved in tourism activities are different; perhaps it is because of different directions, or regional differences in China, or some other reasons.(4) There are significant differences between different personal background variables, such as age, marital status and the seniors travel purpose. While with no significant differences on gender, education, occupation and monthly income; but all of the different personal background variables have significant differences from tourism constraints.
