Corporate strategy is the element to success. Corporate strategy is a specific plan which integrates the goal and the principle, also enables to drive the whole organization into action. Corporate strategy is the combination of objectives, policies and implementation. Each organizations encounter different situation. It's improper with the attempt to use few strategies to apply in organization, multiple strategies should be considered. The increase of corporate revenue is the key performance index to decide whether a strategy is valuable or unpractical.As a high-level manager over ten years, I have been working in a Japanese-based corporation Shin Shin. Shin Shin Co. is a family-run international business, with 11 branches in China, and 70 years history so far. Their major customers and service is to supply accessories and printings for computer notebook/desktop field. Shin Shin group deals with severe competition, the low-price computer market orientation, the reducing materials of Microsoft AR business, the AR competitors who shares the same Microsoft market, and the competitors from other packing industries. Inside Shin Shin group, there is internal management problem which was formed by Japanese leadership and management culture. The managers are afraid of new challenge and fear of change. My essay is to discuss how to position the company and find the practical strategies for corporation despite the severe environment.I apply the strategic management analysis structure and tool that I learned from EMBA program. I take Shin Shin as case study and perform the internal/external analysis and evaluation for group. My conclusion for company future strategies are:to continually focus on notebook field, to develop and expand supplier chain, to form and stabilize the strategic alliance with customers, to organize and create win-win partnership the strategic alliance with packing industry partners, to re-plan Supply Chain Management SCM content, to find and create unique core value, to re-structure internal business units in order to implement strategies and make sure strategies will be successful.
