As women's unique life activities,reproduction not only plays the role of maintaining the continuity of social species, but also preserving the core values of social culture. So,reproductive health, as a core part of the reproductive process, should not be discussed merely from the bio-medical point. Reproductive medicine, with its observable behavior mode, is thus the external expression of a culture's cognition that lends meaning to life and living, as well as the symbolic representations of such beliefs and values.Therefore, from the perspective of ethnology and traditional cultural heritage,discussing the social and cultural function of reproductive health in ethnic minority areas can help reducing the risk of reproductive behavior, improving the living conditions of women, and exploring the development path of minority women. At the same time, it also has important theoretical significance and practical value in grasping of cultural structure of ethnic minority areas from the overall sense.In this context, based on the data collected in rural G village, HuiZui Autonomous County of Qinghai Hualong, this paper analyzes folk beliefs and practices associated with reproductive medicine, through different methods, such as literature collection, participant observation and deep interview to collect relevant information. The contents are as follows:Based on the time order of reproductive health care, reproduction could be divided into separate three stages of transition and integration as rites of passage. Paper discusses the reproductive beliefs and practices from dimensions, such as behavior, diet and access to health care knowledge.It is found that Islamic culture and Chinese Culture are both deep-rooted in various stages of reproductive rituals.Islamic culture, as the "symbols",distinguishes Muslims from the surrounding Han culture, showing during the reproductive process particularly。Author selects the "Qing Zhen" expressed Islamic culture in Hui Culture. From there aspects of behavior, diet and Medical treatment, the study insights into the "Qing Zhen" among reproductive medical behavior. It is found that "Qing Zhen" as the main part of Hui culture, which has been passed down, domains in which we can clearly identify the continuity and change of Environment. Given the continuous development of the process of modernization, how to protect local knowledge effectively after the traditional way of life changing should be taken further research。...
