Suining City's Industy Structure Adjustment

Industry structure is defined as proprtion composing between various indudtries,internal various departments in a nation or district and their industry struture comonly follows up the following developing rules:ptimary industry's proportion gradually goes down;the second and third industry's proportion gradually goes up.Finally the third industry's rising up speed exceeds the second industry,which plays a big role in the economy.Since China issued the reform and opening-up policy, Suining City has the rapid grow of economy.But because of locating in the western region and historical reasons,meanwhile,with the gobalization of economy and regional unification,problems arise in social and economic mode change, which hindered economy development,especially for the problems of "small scale,low level and scattering place"of Suining industry needed to settled urgently.For this purpose,author bases on the theory of western industry econmics theory and theoretical results of research on industry structure application by Chinese scholars,combines qualitative analysis with quantitaticve analysis and comparative analysis with exempification analysis,objectively analyses the industry structure of Suining City to discover the duretion of adjustment and optimization of industry strycture of Suining City.Furthermore,feasible and effective policies and conditions to ensure the application are also provided. This paper is written in five capters as follows:Chapter1:Introduction.It includes background and significance of the topic, research ideas and analytical framework,and the related theoretical basis about the adjustment of industrial structure.Chapter2:Analysis on present status.In order to identify existing problems of Suining City, this chapter teases the present status of the industrial structure of Suining City.Chapter3:Choice of leading industries and pillar industries. Analysising empiricaly the leading industries in Suining City by factor analysis model,so we can make scientific choice of the leading industries.In addition,good choice of pillar industries can be made according to the characteristics of the actual resources in Suining City.Chapter4:Study on the countermeasures of industry structure adjustment.Though describing the significance,principles,ideas and strategies of the industrial structure adjustment of Suining City in detail,it can put forward the strategic adjustment of the industrial structure.Chapter5:Ensuring measures about industry adjustment of Suining City.It disserts the industry program and reforming the High-tech Zone deeply, in hope to making active effort to adjust industry structure of Suining City.
