With the arrival of the age of 3G, As the core business of UTStarcom, PHS is a great influence on the company. No time to delay for the enterprise strategic transformation.Depending on the actual condition of UTStarcom, referring documents of corporation's strategic management and transformation and basing on some well-known enterprise's strategic transformation, the article expounds the necessity and urgency for UTStarcom to transform it's marketing strategy, analyzes t the company and the internal and external market environment, emphasisly discuss the core business strategy transformation and market strategy adjustment in order to provide some beneficial exploration and thinking for UTStarcom provincial market management.The paper has six chapters. The first chapter briefly introduces the background and significance of this study. The second chapter introduces the related theory foundation of the strategic transformation and the research progress of the domestic and foreign theorists. The third studys the current situation of UTStarcom company and the facing challenge. The forth definitely recommends the SFDI for the transformation of market strategy. The fifth chapter in implementing the strategic transformation process concerns. Lastly, the section summarizes the research results and proposes limitations of research.
