The competition relying on low price is the major weapon of Chinese pharmaceutical exporters,but price war not only cuts down industry's profit but also threatens heavily companies's survival and development.Sanxin Chemical Co.Ltd.has to consider how to upgrade the competence so that we avoid competitor's the price war and keep our continuous advantage in the Anti-hypertensive market,as a major manufacturer and exporter of Angiotensin II receptor blocker in China.Firstly,basing on the core competence of the theory,this paper analyzes and lifts Sanxin Co.Ltd.'s core competence which is unique and difficult to be imitated by the competitors.Because the core competence's feature is difficult to be imitated by the competitors,the analysis on that can help companies avoid price war,keep it competitive advantage in a long period and play a leading role in this industry.Secondly,relying on data collection from Sanxin Chemical Co.Ltd.the market of Anti-hypertensive and interviews with seniors in this industry,the paper theoretically and practically analyzes Sanxin Company's basic competence then find its special core competence,and improves its disadvantage in order to continue to play a leading role in this market.Thirdly,formulating measures to improve these disadvantage.For avoiding price war and enhancing high performance,we propose measures that the company has to raise its core competence's weakness guided by intensive strategy,and maintains or lifts these competitive advantages through market penetration,market development and R + D.The other proposal is that Sanxin corperation has to efect the defects of its core competence-based strategies,organizational structure,human resources, corporate culture and marketing competitiveness,then creates a learning organization,which has the ability to still upgrades the core competence in order to cater for the changing demands of customers,so that we give up price war and consolidates a long term profitability in this industry.
