Development Strategies, Based On Low-carbon Background Of China's Hydropower Industry

This paper firstly summarizes numerous researches on the related fields of hydro power,and finds that the scholars home are confined to the simple introduction or the analysis about some substructure of whole industry.lt is rather seldom that a research has been proposed systematic strategy advices through deep research on the development of our national hydro power industry based on Low Carbon Economy,therefore the issue presented by this paper has a significant research value.Consequently,according to the principle of the integration of theory with practice,this dissertation takes the Low Carbon Economy as the breakthrough point with the aid of some related theories,such as low-carbon economic theory, development economics, the theory of the clean development mechanism etc, thereby regarding the hydro power industry in renewable electric energy field as the main study object to make the quota and the qualitative researches on the industrial level for the hyro power industry's development.Firstly, through the analysis of national power energy structure the article concludes that the features representing our national heavy industry phase are quite clear, with the unreasonable energy structure dominated by the coal, lacking the clean energy,exert detrimental influence to facilitate Low Carbon Economy and sustainable development.Thus the energy structure needs to be optimized,while the hydro electricity is the optimum renewable energy to develop the Low Carbon Economy.Secondly,this paper studys the situation and problems of the hydro power industry,and reveals the advantages of hydro power industry.This paper also researches the limitations of the hydro power industry for proposing relevant measures.Thirdly,the article synthesizes the experiences of the foreign hydro power industry,and finds out that CDM can bring enormous economic benefits to Chinese hydro power industry.The article also proposes that small hydro power have great advantages in the Clean Development Mechanism.At last, this article puts forward countmeasures about how to promote hydro power industry based on Low Carbon Economy.Overall,the research of this article is to alleviate the pressure of energy supply,to reduce the damage in energy consuming to ecological environment,to realize the sustainable energy development,to promote the Low Carbon Economy,which exerts the essential theoretical and practical significance,and has provided the strategic references for our government and enterprises in hydro power industry.
