In order to prevent the big countries for the leadership, ASEAN make a strategic to balance the powers, which bring a lot problems to the cooperation of the big countries.And ASEAN mediate among the big countries. However, with the deepening of the East Asian integration process and the big countries becoming more and more positive, ASEAN, as a small country alliance, has revealed its inherent shortage more and more.
