A large-scale demolition reconstruction of urban on the one hand improve the urban landscape, while on the other hand, improves the recombination of the urban elements, and to a certain extent, cause changes in the geopolitical structure of the city. With the policy of reform and open, the city renews quickly. In this paper, by taking two minorities' community,in Jin Taili communities in the East-City district in Beijing city for example, the case investigation on residents living needs and satisfaction of the situation after the demolition reconstruction is carried out by way of depth interviews. The problems with strong reflects by ethnic minority residents are summarized and sorted out, and the practical factors for such issues were analyzed for the Jin Taili communities combined with their specialties, like, the special political geographical demands for their location in the political hinterland, the requirements of commercial development in urban centers and so on. Moreover in this paper, through the use of the diversification theory, the rationality of social action theory, hierarchy of needs theory and the Central Place Theory, theoretical analysis on community-supply situation are given for the two demolition transformed communities, the conclusion on how the business logic and the cultural logic work together to play a role in promoting urban renewal in the process of urban redevelopment in Beijing are discussed.Minority residents have special social needs ,the research of the residents living satisfaction of investigations does make sense of knowing the national people's livelihood,building a harmonious city national relationship,protecting the interests of the city minority residents and maintenance the stability and development of our captial.This paper argues that urban demolition reconstruction as an unavoidable phenomenon in city development, does impact a lot on the urban residents especially the minority ethnic groups. Minority ethnic residents face the pains on rebuilding both practical communities and spiritual communities. The government has to establish the interests of the present mechanism, to adapt to the progress of market economy and pay much attention to the construction of cultural diversity, in order to build much harmonious ethnic communities.After the original community structure was dismembered, the living space is divided and the order of life is disrupted, resulting in their The paper is organized as follows:Chapter I introduces the backgrounds and origins of the research, recalled the relevant researches on urban demolition reconstruction and framed the research method and the framework of the paper. Chapter 2 represents the community profiles and the changes in the community environment before and after the demolition reconstruction in Jin Taili region, including the space environment, business environment and cultural environment. In chapter 3, represents how the changes in the community environment cause the lack of community-supply facilities, which resulting in a number of issues of living demand for minorities ethnic. Chapter 4 analyzes the real factors and the theoretical factors on the issues reflected by the minority residents. Chapter 5:summarizes the changes in the material and spiritual aspects of the minority residents in the Jin Taili region caused by demolition reconstruction, then the building of harmonious ethnic communities are reflected.
