The research mainly based on such content:1.Structure the theory frame for industrial agglomeration in Chongqiong. We structure the frame basing on the study of related theories and the physical truth of the city.2.Measure the level of agglomeration. The analysis are carried by two sides. One side is analyze the industry, by the GINI index and CR4 index ,and the other side is analyze the districts, using the location quotient index.3.Analyze the factors for industrial agglomeration. According the theory, the language hazard is less important, and the resources endowment just affect few industries, so we study postnatal factors only. Those industries are manufacture of chemical fibers, manufacture of special purpose machinery, manufacture of measuring instrument, textile industry, cultural, educational and sports goods. e.g.3. Through the study on the degree and the trend of agglomeration, there has large difference in One Hour Economic Sphere, Northeast of Chongqiong and Southeast of Chongqiong. The agglomeration phenomenon is clearly in One Hour Economic Sphere, especially in Metropolitan Advanced Economic Sphere; but the trend of agglomeration is obvious in Northeast of Chongqiong and Southeast of Chongqiong.4.The paper study the factors, such as endowment of resources, custom market size, labor cost, technical level, traffic condition, government policy, the positive analysis showed that factors such as custom market size are very notable.
