| Cinnamomum cassia, which belongs to Cinnamomum of Lauraceae, is evergreen tree and the 80% products of the world has been yielded in China, especially planted in Guangxi, Guangdong, Yunnan, Sichuan, Fujian and other provinces. Being named as "the Chinese cinnamon" in abroad, Cinnamomum cassia in China has been mainly planted in Guangdong and Guangxi, which yielded 95% domestic products, particularly in the south foots of Shiwan Mountains and Xijiang River Valley of Guangxi. Gernerally, it used to be an important source of natural spices which provided great values in Food and Medicine domain. In this paper, Cinnamomum cassia bark, Cinnamomum cassia presl and Cinnamomum cassia leaf, yielded in Naliang town of Guangxi, had been extracted, and then studied the extracting conditions, volatile components, antioxidative activity of the extraction as four parts as follows.Part 1The essential oils were extracted from Cinnamomum cassia bark, Cinnamomum cassia presl, Cinnamomum cassia leaf by Soxhelt method and optimal extracting conditions and then factors of affecting extraction yields, such as extracting temperature, material-to-solvent ratio, extracting time, were discussed.to gain the best way for extracting products by orthogonal experimental with three factors and four levels.Part 2The volatile components was extracted by Soxhelt method, the ultrasonic-assisted extraction and steam distillation., and analyzed by using GC-MS to identify the effect of different extracting methods to the species and outputs of volatile components. We studied the effect caused by different methods and species.GC-MS testing showed that (E)-Cinnamaldehyde, (E)-2-Propenal, 3-(2-methoxyphenyl)-, ect. were the main chemical components of Cinnamomum cassia bark, Cinnamomum cassia presl, Cinnamomum cassia leaf.Part 3The antioxidative capacities of the products extracting by ethanol was studied by three ways, eliminating hydroxyl radical system (? OH), nitroso ion system (NO2-) and superoxide anion system (?O2-). Experimental results showed that ethanol extraction from Cinnamomum cassia has the better ability of eliminating the activity of radical. It provides experimental foundation for deep exploiture and utilization of Cinnamomum cassia. Part 4The ethanol extracting which showed high antioxidative capacities was separated by means of column chromatography , thin layer chromatogramphy, recrystallization and so on. |
