Objective:By observing the influence on time to progress (TTP), overall survival(OS) and quality of Horone-dependent breast cancer patients with traditional Chinese medicine shuganyishen, here is to provide evaluation of tracitional chinese medicine shuganyishen general efficacy, chinese medicine treatment of breast cancer treatment for the clinical evidence.Methods:226 ITT cases were divided into two cohorts by treatment,of which 126 cases treated with combination of Shuganyishen formula and standard western medicine including endocrine therapy and 100 cases by the latter alone respectively.the end point was time to progress(TTP), overall survival and quality of life(QOF).Results:1 Comparison of survival:Luminal A TTP Median (weeks) Combined treatment group:37.5;pure western medicine:26.2, P<0.05; OS Median (weeks) Combined treatment group:102.1; pure western medicine:87.3, P>0.05; LuminalB TTP Median (weeks) Combined treatment group:33.4;purewestern medicine:20.1, P<0.05; OS Median(weeks) Combined treatment group:97.6, pure western medicine:82.4, P>0.05. There were statistically significances in median TTP between combination and western medicine in LuminalA as well as LuminalB, there were no significances in OS between combination and western medicine in LuminalA as well as LuminalB;2 Quality of life scale:①muscle tissue reaction (fatigue, myalgia) comparison of the two groups p<0.05has significant statistic meaning.②Gastrointestinal (loss of appetite, increased appetite, stomach discomfort, nausea and vomiting) reaction of the two groups p<0.05 has significant statistic meaning.③Central nervous system reaction (headache, dizziness, lrritability/insonmia, sleepiness) comparison of the two groups p>0.05 has insignificant statistic meaning.④bone tissue reaction (bonepain, osteoporosis, fractures) comparison of the two groups p<0.05 has significant differences meaning⑤skin reactions (skin itching, rash, allergies) comparison of the two groups p>0.05 has insignificant statistic meaning.⑥endometrial lesions reaction (endometrial hyperplasia, uterine fibroids, endometrial polyps, endometrial hyperplasia, endometrial cancer) comparison of the two groups p<0.05 has significant statistic meaning.⑦Secretion system reaction (genital dryness, vaginal bleeding, irregular menstruation) comparison of the two groups p<0.05 has significant statistic meaning⑧Other reactions (chest pain, dry mouth, sweating, difficulty breathing, elevated blood glucose, fatty liver, abnormal liver function), during which, the comparison between dry mouth and sweating p<0.05 has significant statistic meaning..3 Alleviation hot flushes in different situations:In control group with76 cases, no change is involved in 53 cases(69.73%), with 23 cases(30.26%) reduced, and none of the patients symptoms disappeared; treatment group with 90 cases,3cases of no change (33.33%),45 cases(50%) reduced, and the patients symptoms disappeared involved 15 cases(16.67%). By compared of the two groups, it has significant statistic meaning (p<0.05).Comparison of improvement of sleep:during the control group of76cases, no change in 46 cases(60.6%) and sleep improvement in 30 cases (39.4%) are in involved,; As for the treatment group with 90 cases, no change in 33 cases (36.6%) and sleep improvement in 57 cases (63.3%) are involved. By compared of the two groups, it has statistic meanings (p<0.05).Conclusion:Traditional Chinese medicine shuganyishen combined western medicine to treat the breast cancer patients with advanced hormone-dependent is better than western medicine in improving the TTP and the quality of life of patients.
