| Purpose: To observe the effects of YiXiao Ointment (YXO) dressing change on reducing the local pain, edema , and promoting wound healing of patients after operation of mixed hemorrhoids with Milligan-Morgan Hemorrhoidectomy.Methods: The study population consisted of 103 patients after operation of mixed hemorrhoids with Milligan-Morgan Hemorrhoidectomy.The treatment group with 52 cases and the contrast group with 51 cases were randomly collected and treated by YXO and Mayinglong Shexiang zhichuang Ointment (MSO) respectively, and the therapeutic effects were compared.Results:In comparison with the contrast group, the degree of postoperative pain and edema in the treatment group were all significantly reduced (p<0.05), meanwhile the wound healing time of the treatment group was shorter distinctively (p<0.01).Conclusion:YXO has the effect of activating blood circulation to dissipate blood stasis detumescence and promoting granulation. Patients after operation of mixed hemorrhoids with Milligan-Morgan Hemorrhoidectomy combined with YXO dressing change can achieve better clinical results by reducing postoperative complications,such as postoperative pain and edema. This is a simple, safe, effective and cheap method and worth to spread. |
