Objective: To study the effects and possible mechanism of YSSX pill in treating CHD LVDD. Methods: 70 cases are divided into two groups randomly. The treatment group (40 cases) are treated with YSSX pill, lOg, 3 times a day, while the control group (30 cases) treated with Diltiazem, 3 0mg, 3 times a day. 4 weeks is a therapeutic period. The effects of cardiac function, angina, electro-cardio-gram (ECG) and symptom are observed between the two groups. The changs of diastolic function of left ventricle (E apexes-. A apexes-. A/E AC-. DC-. EATDT 1/3FF). blood-fat and hemodynamics indication are also compared between before and after therapy. Results: YSSX pill can obviously improve the cardiac function (P<0.05) and diastolic function of left ventricle indication (P<0.O5orO.0 1), the symptom of angina (P<0.05) and ECG. The total effective rate of improving symptoms of treatment group is 90% (P<0.0l). The YSSX pill can significantly ameliorate the symptoms such as feeling of oppression in the chest, palpitation, fatigue, frequent micturition (P<0.05), etc. and can depress blood-fat and hemodynamics (P<0.05 or 0.01), etc. There is significant difference between the two groups. Conclusion: The mechanism of CHD LVDD is blood stasis due to deficiency of the kidney and congestion of fluid-retention. It shows that tonifying the kidney and promoting blood circulation and inducing diuresis is an effective therapeutic method of CHD LVDD. it is of great value to guide the clinical practice.
