Clinical Efficacy Research Of Infantile Exogenous Fever With Exterior Wing-cold Type Which Treat By Guizhijia Gegen Jiawei Decoction

Objective: By observing the clinical efficacy research of the GuizhiJiaGegen Jiawei decoction in treating infantile exogenous fever with exterior wing-cold,to provide clinical evidence base for further promotion and application.Methods:100 patients who conform to the diagnostic standard of infantile exogenous fever with wind-cold type in clinic,were divided into observation group with odd numbers and control group with double numbers according their order number,50 cases in each group respectively.Observation group were given the treatment by GuizhiJia Gegen Jiawei decoction.Control group were given the treatment by ChaiGui antifebrile grain,3 days as a course of treatment.By observing the comparison of cooling time,the time of antipyretic and times of using antipyretic medicine,the scores of TCM syndromes,individual symptom scores and clinical efficacy.Results:1.There were comparable but no statistically significant difference between two groups of children in gender,disease distribution,body temperature,scores of TCM syndromes and individual symptom before the treatment(P > 0.05).2.The comparison of cooling time: the time of observation group was 3.5±1.01 h,the time of control group was 4.45±1.28 h,the observation group performs better than the control group(P<0.05),whichshows the observation group was less than the control group in cooling time.3.The comparison of antipyretic time,the time of observation group was 20.04±10.03 h,the time of control group was 28.32±8.23 h,the observation group performs better than the control group(P<0.05),which shows the observation group was less than the control group in antipyretic time.4.The comparison of using antipyretic medicine: the observation group was 1.85±2.07 times,the control group was 3.15±2.23 times,which means,in using antipyretic medicine,the observation group was less than the control group(P<0.05).5.The comparison of TCM symptom total scores: the observation group was 9.77±2.25 marks before the treatment and 3.19±1.95 marks after the treatment,the control group was 9.87±2.23 marks before the treatment and 5.02±2.67 marks after the treatment.The total scores of TCM syndromes after treatment in both groups were lower than those before treatment.The decrease trend of the total scores in the observation group was better than that of the control group(P < 0.05).6.The comparison of individual symptom scores,after treatment,the scores of the two groups decreased compared with before treatment.The observation group had better symptoms of stuffy nose,runny nose,sneeze,cough,and expectoration than the control group(P<0.05).7.The total efficiency's comparison: the total effective rate was 93.75% in the observation group and 80.85% in the control group(P<0.05).It was obvious that in the total efficiency the observation group is better than the control group.Conclusion: There is definitively effective of the GuizhiJiaGegen Jiawei decoction in treating infantile exogenous fever with exterior wing-cold,at the same time can improve children with stuffy nose,runny nose,sneeze,cough,and expectoration and other accompanying symptoms,the exact clinical effect,it's worthy of clinical application and promotion.
