Objective: To seek the mechanism of QIANLIEANKELI granules (QLAKL) on treating chronic prostatitis.Methods: Injecting 25%xiaozhiling into the prostate of SD rats induced experimental chronic prostatitis animal models. A week later Jiigh king and low dosage of QLAKL granule suspension was perfused into their stomachs . NKP sheets were used for the positive control rats and saline was used for the others. After Four weeks, counting lecithin corpuscles and leucocytes with light microscope. The contents of IL-1 fl ,IL-6 and TNF- α were measured hi the prostate homogenate by two-antibody enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Observing prostatic histopathological changes and counting leucocytes and fibroblasts in interstitial portion of prostate under optical microscope with Miass computer configuration image analysis system.Results: Leucocytes and fibroblasts in prostates of rats with chronic prostatitis were decreasing with QLAKL granules. The QLAKL granules decreased the increased contents of IL-1 P ,IL-6 and TNF- a in the prostate homogenate and increased the decreased numbers of lecithin corpuscles in prostate.Conclusions: The QLAKL granules manifest good effect on chronic prostatitis . The principal mechanism of QLAKL granules on treating chronic prostatitis is related with decreasing the levels of proinflammatory cytokines in prostates, relieving leucocytes infiltration, depressing the hyperplasia of fibrous tissue and recovering excretion function of prostate. |
