Objective To investigate the effect on the body fluid metabolismand immual system in treatment of diarrhea in rat model by applying Sour and Sweet herbs to nourish Yin, the experiment research on it by utilizing the ZYKFBYY has been taken.Methods The ZYKFBYY has been applied to diarrhea rat modelsuffered from spleen deficiency after taking Rhubarb, using ORS as control. The variation of index in rats has been observed, such as ingestion , spontaneous activity, stool frequency, shape and properties, spleen weight, RBC-Csb-RR, RBC-IC-R and [Na+] [K+] [Cl-] in serum.Results (1)The ZYKFBYY could considerably alleviate diarrhea andretain losing weight. (2) The ZYKFBYY could promote RBC-C3b-RR more effectively than ORS could. Though it makes no or little difference on RBC-IC-R. (3).The ZYKFBYY could promote the spleen weight index of rats. (4) The ZYKFBYY could promote [Na+] [K+] [CF] in serum evidently.Conclusion The ZYKFBYY could considerably alleviatediarrhea;The ZYKFBYY could promote the spleen weight index of rats and RBC-Cab-RR;The ZYKFBYY could promote [Na+] [K+] [Cl-] in serum evidently,indentifying the effect on electrolyte;Pathological observation proced it could protect and recover the gastrointestinal mucosa.
