Clinical Study Of Gout Granules In The Treatment Of Primary Acute Gouty Arthritis, Rheumatoid Yu Heat Syndrome "

The clinical research: regarding Traditional Chinese Medicine theory as guidelines, we select the Tongfengshu-granule, which can clear away heat, drain dampness, and promote blood circulation to resolve stasis, to treat the acute gout arthritis wind-dampness stagnant heat syndrome. OBJECTIVE: to evaluate the curative effect and safe about Tongfengshu-granule on treating of the acute gout arthritis. METHOD: 222 patients are divided into two groups at random, with the basic treatment, treat group is given Tongfengshu-granule, control group is given placebo, and 7 days is the course of treatment. RESULT: Tongfengshu-granule group's clinical control rate is 32.4%, effective rate is 33.8%, and total effective rate is 66.2%, superior to placebo control group 10.8%, 21.6%, 34.2%. Through test there are significantly statistics meanings between the two groups (P value <0.01). CONCLUSION: Through clinical observation, we have found Tongfengshu-granule can alleviate joint pain symptom and physical signs. And there is no obvious poisonous side effect.
