Aim: To study the meaning of expressions of P-gp, MRP, LRP and GST- p in tissues microarray of lung cancer. Methods- There were 226 cases of lung cancers and 23 cases of normal lung tissues made by technological of tissues microarray , at the same time, the tissues microarray of lung cancers were detected by S-P immunohistochemistry with P-gp, MRP, LRP and GST- . Results: the positive rate of P-gp, MRP, LRP and GST- p in lung cancers is 46.0% . 42.0%. 54.4%, 62.4% respectively. Significant difference exists between tumorous tissue and normal lung tissues , poorly differentiated-type and differentiated-type, NSCLC and SCLC (P<0.05) . In addition, the expressions is decreased by the positive rates in adenocarcinoma, squamous carcinoma, small-cell carcinoma, it is consistent with chemotherapy-sensitivity. The expressions of recurrence and metastasis after surgery is higher than that of no-recurrence and no-metastasis. Conclusion: The mechanism of lung cancer resistance is a course that many genes and ways take part in. Combined evaluation of the expressions of these genes in lung cancers maybe suitable to estimate respondence and prognosis of chemotherapy. Technology of tissues microarray applied to detect a large of specimens is feasible.
