With The Prevention And Treatment Of Seasonal Climate Change-related Diseases

The origin and development and successive changes of Bi syndrome have been analyzed firstly in this dissertation. By the study of cause, invasion, diseased place, pathogenesis, treatment, we find that Bi syndrome that is mentioned in Chinese medicine is similar to rheumarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis in the clinic in modern medicine. Meanwhile, by analyzing the understand of the development of Bi syndrome in Huangdi Neijing, we put forward that the onset of Bi syndrome is related to climate pathogenesis, prove that the arthralgia spasm disease included in Bi syndrome which is discussed in Chinese medicine is related to climate closely. The understanding of Bi syndrome in Qianjin Fang is based on Huangdi Neijing, while it enriches the understanding of Bi syndrome in Huangdi Neijing. There are 16 kinds of Bi syndromes in Qianjin Fang, and among them, there are 10 kinds of Bi syndromes that are the same as the Huangdi Neijing in names. There are 112 pieces of formulae that can treat Bi syndrome. There are different kinds of form of medication such as decoction, bolus, powder, vinum, slurry, and washout formula. There are not so many formulas that are fixed from the distribution of the formulae. So, in this dissertation, the commonly used formulae and drugs that can treat different Bi syndrome have been analyzed statistically, the result of drug using has been obtained primarily. In short, the formula and drug that can treat Bi syndrome after differentiation have been classified and analyzed firstly. At last, the situation of treating Bi syndrome with medicine in Taiwan have been cited, since Taiwan belongs to marine climate, the main climate is dampness and hot perennially, therefore, for Bi syndrome that is susceptible to season, the main syndrome of Bi syndrome in Taiwan is due to dampness and heat. There is seldom Bi due to wind, cold, and deficiency. The therapeutic method is to use some modified formula that can mainly clearing away the heat and removing the dampness. The treatment is mainly similar to that in mainland. because of the special geographic and climate circumstance, there are abundant of herbs that cannot be found in mainland, many of them can treat rheumatic arthralgia syndrome. Although there is no formal pharmaceutical and herbal toxicity trials, there is no report about the study in clinic, the use of this drugs are relatively extensive in Taiwan. Related report showed that they are effective to treat this disease in clinic, this content is discussed in this dissertation.
