| 1 Purpose of Research:1.1 To probe into the TCM (Traditional Chinese medicine)feature of syndrome ofblood stasis due to deficiency of Qi and pathogenesis of Chronic PulmonaryHeart Disease during the period of acute paroxysm.1.2 To explore clinic curative effect and its mechanism ofSHEN-YUAN-YI-QI-HUO-SUE Capsule to the syndrome of blood stasis due todeficiency of Qi of Chronic Pulmonary Heart Disease during the period of acuteparoxysm.2 Method of Research:2.1 Case Selection: All of these 60 cases were selected from patients of the ward of respiratorysection. All of them were hospitalized from Oct. of 2003 to Mar. of 2004. Byclinical diagnosis as: Chronic Pulmonary Heart Disease Among them 37 cases aremale and 23 are female with age between 41 to 74, and average age is 61.12±7.69.2.2 Grouping and Therapeutic Scheme: The 60 cases of patients of the syndrome of blood stasis due to deficiency of Qisuffering from Chronic Pulmonary Heart Disease were grouped asSHEN-YUAN-YI-QI-HUO-SUE Capsule(Abbreviated as Therapeutic Group)andgroup with routine treatment(Abbreviated as Comparative Group)by stochasticprocess. These two groups were ceased from taking Chinese medicine when theywere hospitalized, and gave a routine western treatment(such as antibiotic ,easetrach eospasm and asthma, dilution phlegm. besides gave auxiliary oxygen therapyor mechanical ventilation .These two groups were all not be given antiplastocy.Anticoagulant and promote fibrin-dissolve createment. Comparative Group wouldnot take any Chinese medicine while Therapeutic Group takeSHEN-YUAN-YI-QI-HUO-XUE Capsule (produced from the department ofpreparation in Beijing),3 pills each time, 3 times a day. Ten days make up acourse of treatment. SHEN-YUAN-YI-QI-HUO-SUE capsule is composed by:HANGQI, DANGSHEN, YUANSHEN, DANSHEN, DILONG, TUYUAN,SHUIZHI,YUANHU etc. And each pill contains 0.42g raw medicine.2.3 Contents of Observation:2.3.1 To observe the characteristics of TCM(Traditional Chinesemedicine)symptoms and signs, tongue and pulse of these 60 patients;2.3.2To observe the major symptoms score of TCM(Traditional Chinesemedicine)(including Loss of vitality, shortness of breath, lack strength, bloodstasis in meridian and the change of tongue and pulse) before and after thetreatment of these two groups separately;2.3.3 To test the level of Flow on blood coagulation and thrombosis ,syndrome ofendothelium cell ,syndrome of plasminogen of these two groups before and afterthe treatment;2.4 Result:2.4.1 Statistical significance in comparing between SHEN-YUAN-YI-QI–HUO-XUE capsule abbreviated as therapeutic Group with a decline range ofclinical major symptoms score in all and Comparative Group(P<0.05)2.4.2 Statistical significance in the improvement of various targets Flow on bloodcoagulation and thrombosis,NO与ET,t-PA与PAI of Therapeutic Group before andafter the treatment compared with the Comparative Group.(P<0.05)3 Conclusion:3.1 The main mechanism of blood stasis due to deficiency of Qi ChronicPulmonary Heart Disease is: long time coughing and asthmaing cause deficiencyof Qi in lungs, spleen, kidneys and heart. blood stasis result in disease. Deficiencyof Qi in the heart and the lungs, blood stasis are major pathogenesis run throughthe total process.3.2 The effects of SHEN-YUAN-YI-QI-HUO-SUE Capsule includes: reinforcement of Qi,supporting vital Qi, invigorate circulation of blood.It can dramatically improve the symptoms of Loss of vitality, shortness of breath,blood stasis in meridian of the syndrome of blood stasis due to deficiency ofQi during Chronic Pulmonary Heart Disease.3.3Chronic Pulmonary Heart Disease is caused by increasing resistance ofpulmonary circulation due to chronic pathological change of lunges, thoracal orpulmonary artery, maximum pressure of pulmonary artery, hypertrophy of the rightheart dilatation lead to right heart failure.The cause development, relieve and cure of Chronic Pulmonary Heart Disease areclosely linked to maximum pressure of pulmonary artery.
