Cryoablation To Treat Non-small Cell Lung Cancer Before And After Surgery, Chinese Medicine Syndrome Study

Objective: The study is aimed to find out the changing regularity of the clinical syndrome before and after treating the NSCLC with Argon-helium cryoablation,to find the foundation for TCM using before and after the Argon-helium cryoablation.So as to provide another therapy for NSCLC,especially those who had lost the opportunity of operation, and inprove the effect in clinic.Methods: Prospective research method and retrospective research method are used in the study.56 cases of NSCLC patients(54 of which are in PhaseⅢ/Ⅳ) are included.They are treated with Argon-helium cryoablation.Record the symptoms 1d before the operation,7th day and 14th day after the operation,including the symptom,sign,tongue,pulse.Then deal with all the data with NDST. Results:(1) The main TCM syndrome of stageⅢ/ⅣNSCLC is the compound of the repletion and deficiency syndrome.With the main manifestation of deficiency syndrome(Qi vacuity and Yin vacuity),phlegm syndrome(phlegm-heat syndrome and phlegm-moist syndrome) and blood stasis syndrome.After cryoablation the phlegm syndrome get a quick and short-time change,manifesting as phlegm-heat syndrome increased and phlegm-moist decreased.Blood stasis syndrome and deficiency syndrome change little.From the 2 weeks observation, cryoablation can make the patients better than before at aspects of deficiency syndrome and phlegm syndrome.The patients using herbs for two or three weeks haven't change the phlegm,blood stasis or deficiency syndrome.(2) It is common to see dark or dull dark and slimly tongue coat in the stageⅢ/Ⅳ.In the two weeks after cryoablation therapy,the change of the tongue is not significant.The tongue coat changes into yellow slimy or thin yellow in a short time.(3) The pulse of the stageⅢ/ⅣNSCLC mainly manifest as compound pulses, especially the deficiency pulse,such as string-like-fine pulse,deep-fine pulse and week pulse. And the main pulse changes little after cryoablation therapy.(4) The focus of TCM syndromes was located on the lungs and also have both spleen and kidney.To some extend,the lung syndrome decreased after cryoablation therapy. Conclusion:(1)Phlegm, blood stasis and deficiency are the main etiological and pathogenic factors in stageⅢ/ⅣNSCLC.(2) The effect of Argon-helium cryoablation treating tumor can be considered as a strong effect of driving away Xie.But the symptom doesn't change significantly in two weeks, the herbs should be used in the therapy before and after the operation.(3) It is more effective to use the herbs which have the effect of clearing heat and...
