| Objective:To evaluate the curative effect of 51 pulmonary cancer patients who had been treated by Argon-helium cryoablation,including the changes in tumor size,clinlcal symptom,quality of life and complications.In order to investigate the effectiveness and safety of Argon-helium cryoablation in the treatment of pulmonary cancer.Methods:Using retrospective research method,we select 51 pulmonary cancer patients(include metastatic carcinoma)treated with Argon-helium cryoablations in Department of Internal Medicine-Oncology of integrated traditional Chinese and Western Medicine in China-Japan Friendship Hospital during 2013.11 to 2016.12.Analyze the changes in solid tumor size,clinlcal symptom,quality of life and summarize the complications related with Argon-helium cryoablation.Statistic the status of postoperative TCM treatment and follow up the postoperative survival duration and survival rate.Results:1.Curative effect evaluation of solid tumor:51 cases of pulmonary lesions,the largest diameter is 90.07mm,the minimum is 13.03mm.Compared the image result whose time are most approaching to the cryoablation to the image result recently.The time of patients' reexamination,the longest is 1366 days,the shortest is 21 days.According to RECIST1.1,the objective response rate(CR+PR)is 15.69%,the disease control rate(CR+PR+SD)is 84.31%.2.Performance status:According to the Karnofsky functional status score,observe the changes of functional status before and after cryoablation.There were 13 cases(25.49%)quality of life improved,5 cases(9.80%)quality of life decreased,no significant changes in 33 patients(64.71%).The overall rate of improvement and stability is 90.2%..3.Clinical symptoms:Take eight common symptoms of lung cancer,combined with the patient's condition,observe the change of the corresponding symptoms after cryoablation for 1 weeks.Cough was relieved in 7 cases(36.84%),Expectoration was relieved in 6 cases(50%),hemoptysis or bloody sputum was relieved in 3 cases(30%),chest pain was in 11 cases(84.60%).weakness of remission was in 27 cases(56.25%),shortness of breath was relieved in 29 cases(63.04%),dyspnea remission was in 5 cases(26.32%),Loss of appetite was relieved in 4 cases(14.29%).4.Complications:Cryoablation was successfully performed in 51 patients,Complications related to cryoablation had occurred in 37 patients.The overall incidence rate of complications was 72.55%.There were 9 cases of pneumothorax,6 cases of postoperative fever,4 cases of cough,6 cases of hemoptysis,2 cases of chills,3 cases of anepithymia,5 cases of postoperative wound pain,1 cases of hemothorax,1 cases of asphyxiation.No deaths occurred during cryosurgery.All the patients were in the syndrome differentiation and treated with Chinese herbal decoction after the Cryoablation,with the treatment principle of Yiqi Jianpi Qingfei Sanjie.The condition was improved in two weeks.Conclusion:1.Cryotherapy is effective in the treatment of primary or metastatic malignant tumor of the lung.It can delay the progression of tumor,release patients' suffering and improve the quality of life.2.Cryotherapy is widely available in many kinds of tumor and people.It is obvious that patients recover after Argon-helium cryoablation quickly without trauma.And it is safe and effective to apply combined with other oncotherapy methods.Cryotherapy should be introduced and spread in clinical practice. |
