OBJECTIVEAll over the world, lung cancer has turned into the most common malignant tumor since 1980's. Non-small cell lung cancer is about 80 percent in all lung cancer. The medicine workers should do our best to lengthen the patients'life and improve their quality of life(QOL). So it is very important to study the factors which affect the NSCLC patients'QOL. The factors include many aspects ,as follows:①the patient's condition②social factors:③psychologic factor:④treatment method ,and⑤the lymphangiongenic factors VEGF-C, VEGF-D,VEGFR-3.MATERIALS AND METHODS1.Material99 NSCLC cases with neighboring non cancerous tissue samples were obtained from patients who had received surgery in the nong ken zong ju Hospital in hainan province between 2000 and 2005,fixed in 4% paraformalde-hyde,embedded in paraffin.2.Methods2.1 Research the possible factors which affect NSCLC prognostic with questionnaire2.2 We detected the VEGF-C,VEGF-D ,VEGFR-3 expression by immuno-histochemistry S-P method. cases in which at least 10% of cancer cells were immunoreactive were defined as being positive2.3 Write a view about the relationship between VEGF-C and the prognostic of lung cancer with meta-analysis.3. Statistical analysisAll statistical calculations were carried out using the Statistical Product and Services Solutions (SPSS) statistical software. The Chi-square test,T-test , ANOVA were used for single factor analysis, The P value less than 0.05 was considered significant. Survival curves were obtained using the Kaplan-Meier method and compared by the log-rank test. Cox-model was used for multi-factors test in survival analysis Using the linear regression and correlation analysis evaluate the effect factors of the survival quality of the lung cancer.RESULTS1. The expression of VEGF-C, VEGF-D,VEGFR-3 in the NSCLC tissue VEGF-C antigen was observed in the cytoplasm of cancer cells. No staining wasobserved in the cancer stroma and normal pulmonaryalveolus. VEGF-D expression is similar with VEGF-C. VEGFR-3 expression was found in the cancer cells and the lymph vessels.2. Correlations betweenVEGF-C,VEGFR-3 expressions and clinicopathological factors...
