Objective To measure the irritation of aloe oral pellicles and provide experiment evidence for clinical experiment of aloe oral pellicles and its empolder in the future we do the acute toxicity experiment of aloe oral pellicles. Methods Prepare 0.5% ,1.0% and 1.5% aloe oral pellicles and pellicles that did not include aloe. We do the experiment with double-blind technipue .Divide 18 healthy rabbits into 3 groups randomizely, do irritation test for eyes with 3 different concentration aloe oral pellicles . Comparison group: put pellicles that did not include aloe into rabbits left eyes ; experiment group :put different concentration aloe oral pellicles respectively into 3 different group rabbits' right eyes.Grade the points of every rabbits irritation by the grade standard of the test . Evaluation standards of the grade:0~3.9 points means nonirritating ,4~8.9points means minimally irritating,9~ 12.9 points means moderately irritating, 13-16 points means severely irritating , Results We got the mean points finally ,the maximum is 1.333point,the minimum is 0 point .All rabbits' mean grade are lower than 3.9 point. We use SPSS1O.O statistic the data. There is a sign difference among different time interceps and three experiment groups. We find the curve of the mean grade move upwards when the concentration of aloe oral pellicles increase. Conclusion Though the effect of irritation is aggravating when the concentration of aloe increases, aloe oral pellicles has no irritation for oral mucosa evaluated by the standard of the irritation test of eyes .It can be used in the paitients of recurrent oral ulcer safely. Its result can be used as an experimentevidence for the clinical test of aloe oral pellicles and its empolder.
