Diabetic Retinopathy In Visual Field Changes And The Relationship Of Tcm

Purpose: To investigate changes of visual fields at different stages of diabatic retinopathy (DR),and approach the correlations between changes of visual field with TCM symptoms of DR, and correlated influencing factors of visual field defect.Methods: Divide the enrolled patients to several groups according to the FFA( fundus fluorecein angiograms)by using a multi- clinical center method. Record symptomatography, common information, other check-up results,and CRF(case report form)which involved the symptoms , the stages of microangiopathy ,the present medication (Chinese herbal medicine and Western medicine), the kidney impairment states, tongue interpretation, pulse interpretation.then fill in the CRF. Using white-on-white perimetry, D1 program with OCTOPUS 101 automatic perimetry produced by Switzerland.All data proceede statistics analysis.Results: 1.The difference between the mean ages and sexuality of all compare groups was not significant (P>0.05).2.1n all stages of DR major Bebie curve is mixed stye,and the mixed stye was increasing with the develepment of DR.3.The level of MD , LV and CLV increased significantly in PDR group compared with BDR and before Diabetic retinopathy groups(P<0.01);4.the score difference of syndrome in DR and visual field indices have some correlation(P<0.01). Syndrome of blood stasis impact both MS and LV(P<0.05).5.Both HbALC and Albumin excretion rate(ARE) has inverse correlation with MS(P<0.01), there's direct correlation between HbALC and LV(P<0.01).Conclusion: 1.The visual function of type 2 DM had damaged before Diabetic retinopathy. Type 2 DM not only have regular photosensitivity descend,but have diffuse or limited visual defect. 2. If relieves the TCM symptoms positively when treating DR, we can control the abnormal changing of visual field indices at a certain extent, protect visual function accordingly, and delay the progression of DR.3.Please binds the micro-differentiation of eyeground together, refers to some important objective index for blood stasis symptoms, such as the location, range and degree of visual-field defect, and manifestation of FFA, not except differentiation on all over the body when differentiates on DR, and determines the order of priority. 4. The degree of visual field defect in type 2 DM highly related the level of blood sugar, the degree of diabetic retinopathy and the ARE.
