Object: To observe the effcts of HuangBanKang on blood biochemistry and the pathology of CBRC in the experimental dyslipidemia C57BL mice, and to observe the therapeutical effect of the Chinese recipe Huangbankang on the dyslipidemia model at the same time. Methods: The three-month-old C57BL mice were randomized to fore groups: three months old group fed with normal forage, eight months old group fed with normal forage, eight months old group fed with high-fat dietary , eight months old group fed with high-fat dietary and HuangBanKang. On schedule, twelve mice of each group were executed and checked the test index , take off all their eyeballs to make pathological section. When the dyslipidemia model is established, then divide the remainder randomly into 5 groups according to the weight:the negative control group, the positive control group and Huangbankang treated grcup(including high-dosage group, middle-dosage group and low-dosage group) . On schedule , three groups were executed and checked the test index; take off all their eyeballs to make pathological section. Results: (1) The blood biochemistry index of the eight months old group fed with high-fat dietary is much higher than others (P<0.01) ; (2)the RPE thickness of the eight months old group fed with high-fat dietary is much thinner than other groups (P<0.01) ; (3) the Bruch membrane thickness of the eight months old group fed with high-fat dietary is much thicker than other groups (P<0.01) . (4) The blood biochemistry index of the HuangBanKang treated group is much lower than others (P<0.01) ; (5) The RPE thickness of the three groups has no significantly difference; (6)Compare to the positive control group, the Bruch membrane thickness of the HuangBanKang treated group is...
