The incidence rate and gravity of lung infection are rising all the world recently.The central problem is the appearance of pathogenic bacterio's resistance caused by the misuse of antibiotics. The resistance is more serious in patients of lung infection in the hospital. The patients who are long-term in bed whose clinical manifestation is the disturbance of the consciousness, such as the PVS patient and so on. What's more ,the lung infection is one of the main reasons for the worsening of the disease and the death of the PVS patient. Now we add capsule Bulbus Allii Macrostemi composita on the base of the therapy of hyperbaric oxygen and antibiotics to evaluate the objective cure effect of capsule Bulbus Allii Macrostemi composita for lung infection of this kind of patients and for improving the level of consciousness.The improve rate of the treatment group was 45% for the treatment of lung infection to which was added capsule Bulbus Allii Macrostemi composite. Comparison between the two groups showed that the effect of the treatment group was superior to that of the control group (p < 0. 05).
