| The author of Wai Tai Mi Yao Fang is Wang Tao in Tang Dynasty. The book compiled work had been made for decade years and completed in 752 AD. Wai Tai Mi Yao Fang is deserved to be called the comprehensive summary of prescription books before the Tang Dynasty. Seventy-one books were adopted in Wai Tai Mi Yao Fang directly. More than one hundred were done indirectly. It makes us clear about the literature of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Wang Tao made an important contribution to preserve ancient medical literature.Zhang Ji(Zhongjing) was an outstanding medical scholar and the most famous clinical physician in Eastern Han Dynasty. Shang Han Za Bing Lun was completed about 200-205 AD by zhang Zhongjing. Later generations the book was rearranged and divided into two books: Shang Han Lun and Jin Kui Yao Lue. However, a lot of them were missing in the frequent changing history. A lot of contents in Shang Han Za Bing Lun can be found in Wai Tai Mi Yao Fang . This article managed to present a further appearance of its ancient form and provide some valuable document for us. |
