The Extraction And Purification Of Four Kinds Of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Antioxidant And Antibacterial Research

This dissertation focused on the extracting and purifying of total tlavonoids from 4 kind traditional Chinese medicine,which were Chrysanthemum Morifolium Ramat,Trollius Chinensis Bge,Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fisch and Citrus reticulate Blanco.The antioxidant and antimicrobial ability of the extract were also studied.Some conclusion were drawed from the results of tests as follows:The optimum technological conditions for extracting and purifying total flavonoids from Chrysanthemum Morifolium Ramat,Trollius Chinensis Bge,Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fisch and Citrus reticulate Blanco were determined by tests.The study on the scavenging effect of extract from four kinds of traditional Chinese medicine on free radicals was carried out.The scavenging effect on DPPH'from the highest to the lowest was Trollius Chinensis Bge,Chrysanthemum Morifolium Ramat,Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fisch and Citrus reticulate Blanco.The scavenging effect on O₂²from the highest to the lowest was Trollius Chinensis Bge,Citrus reticulate Blanco,Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fisch.and Chrysanthemum Morifolium Ramat.The scavenging effect on OH" from the highest to the lowest was Trollius Chinensis Bge,Chrysanthemum Morifolium Ramat,Citrus reticulate Blanco and Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fisch.The extract from Trollius Chinensis Bge had strongest scavenging effect on free radical of all 3 kinds among all traditional Chinese medicine tested in the research,so it can be developed into a efficient,natural antioxidant.The antimicrobial tests indicated that the antibacterial ability on Staphylococcus aureus from the highest to the lowest was Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fisch＞Trollius Chinensis Bge=Citrus reticulate Blanco＞Chrysanthemum Morifolium Ramat.Extract from Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fisch.and Trollius Chinensis Bge has strong antibacterial ability on Staphylococcus aureus(MIC was 7.8,15.6mg.L^-1,respectively)and weak antibacterial ability on Escherichia coli and Bacillus subtilis in that they can be developed to natural antibacterial agents.
