Chaenomeles speciosa is mainly distributed in East china,South china and Middle china.In traditional Chinese medicine,its fruit has been used to treat rheumatism, vomit,diarrhea,edema,dermatophytosis,etc.In this paper,in order to find and obtain the much more bioactive chemical constituents,the dried fruit powder was extracted with 95%EtOH,and then the solution was evaporated to dryness under vacuum to give a residue.The residue was repeatedly chromatographed on silica gel,Sephadex LH-20,and so on.Eleven compounds were obtained and the structures of them were elucidated on the basis of chemical and spectroscopic evidences.They were identified as:β-sitosterol(1), oleanolic acid(2),betulinic acid(3),3-O-acetyl-pomolic acid(4),chlorogenic ethyl ester(5),protocatechuic acid(6),gallic acid(7),kojic acid(8),daucosterol(9), 5-(hydroxymethyl)-2-furfural(10),nonacosan-10-ol(11).Compound 5,6,7,8,10 were isolated for the first time from the genus Chaenomeles.Castanea mollissima Blume belongs to the family of Fagaceae.We extract Nutlets of Castanea mollissima Blume with CO2 Supercritical Fluid Extraction technology. According to GC-MS method,23 peaks were detected.In the light of Nist107 standard MS library,11 peaks were identified.They are Octanic acid,4-oxo-octanoate, 9-oxo-nonanoic acid,6-Nonenoic acid,Tridecanoic acid,9-Hexadecenoic acid, Palmitic acid,Linoleic acid,Oleic acid,Nonadecanoic acid.
