Cilostazol Yl On Early Diabetic Nephropathy With Microalbuminuria Intervention Role

Objective To evaluate the efficacy of Cilostazol in treating incipient diabetic in type 2 diabetic patients.Methods Sixty cases of blood pressure belong to 90-140/60-90mmHg type 2 diabetes with microalbuminuria were randomized into three groups,20 cases in each.the Cilostazol-treated group was orally given Cilostazol(50mg,bid) for 12 weeks.The TPK-treated group was orally given TPK(120u,tid) for 12 weeks too.The control group was without relevant therapy for 12 weeks.Before and after the study the change of systolic blood pressure(SBP), diastolic blood pressure(DBP),hemoglobin A1c(HbA1c),total cholesterol(TC),riglyceride (TG),low density lipoprotein(LDL-C),high density lipoprotein(HDL-C),albumin-to-creatinine ratio(UACR) was investigated.Results In Cilostazol-treated group UACR was markedly decreased.Only one patient developed mild headache.The TPK-treated group UACR was strikingly decreased too.By contrast,did not show any significantly change in control group.In Cilostazol-treated group TG,HDL-C was obviously changed.The TPK-treated group showed that TG decreased significantly.HbA1c was statistically decreased,but there is no significant difference between 3 groups.And there were no statistically significant differences among the three groups in TC,LDL,SBP,DBP.Conclusion cilostazol can decrease UACR efficiently in the type 2 diabetic patients with incipient diabetic nephropathy.
