| Purpose: The research was to observe the effects of Xiaxi oral liquid on the blood pressure, VCAM-1 of spontaneously hypertensive rats, then to investigate the mechanisms initially.Method: 12-week-old SHRs were assigned randomly into 3 groups: untreated, treated with Ebeishatan, treated with Xiaxi oral liquid, each group consists 10 rats, meanwhile 10 WKY rats the same age were selected as comparison.①Measure the pressure value of the rats before the experiment, after 4-week-treatment and after 8-week-treatment.②Adopt immune organization chemistry method to determine every group of VCAM-1 expression in kidney arteriole in SHR , takes every group rat abdomen aorta making the change organizing section , colored with HE , observing whose organization form under glossy mirror.Result:①comparing with SHR untreated group, BP was deceased in every treatment group , having equally reducing the SHR BP effect, notable difference appears after the xiaxi oral liquid group giving medicine 4 weeks (P <0.05), after giving medicine 8 weeks to extremely notable difference appeared (P <0.01), The extremely notable difference of Ebeishatan group appears after giving medicine 2 weeks (P <0.01);②comparing with SHR model group, VCAM-1 expression in endothelial cell of kidney arteriole was deceased in every treatment group. Endothelial cell colored with SABC of kidney arteriole of the Xia Xi oral liquid group and Ebeishatan group extremely lower than SHR untreated group (p <0.01).③observing every group rat abdomen aorta for medicine by coloured with HE, the injury of endothelial cell appears varying degrees deceased.Conclusion:①Xia Xi oral liquid may decease the BP of SHR obviously;②Xia Xi oral liquid is able to decease VCAM-1 expression in endothelial cell of kidney arteriole and the effect protecting blood vessel endothelial. |
