Objective:The influences of Ginsenoside in flowers(GSF) on the myocardial contractility were observed on isolated working heart of rats.To investigate the protective effects of GSF on isolated myocardial ischemia/reperfusion injury in rats.Methods:The isolated rat hearts were prepared and the effects of GSF on arterial blood pressure(AP),±dp/dtmax,left ventricular systolicpressure(LVSP),Cardiac output(CO),left ventricular end-diastolicpressure(LVEDP) and heart rate(HR) were observed.The heart model of ischemia-reperfusion injury were built by isolated working heart perfusion technology.To observe the effects of GSF on CK,LDH,SOD,MDA.Results:The AP,±dp/dtmax,LVSP,CO increased as well as LVEDP,HR were decreased by the perfusion of GSF.Comparede with normal control.The results showed that GSF decreased the release of CK,LDH at different time and GSF had protective effects on ischemia-reperfusion injury myocarduim.Respectively,GSF increased myocardial SOD activity and decrease MDA level.Conclusions:GSF enhances the left ventricularsystolic function of the isolated rat heart. GSF has obviously protective effect on myocardial ischemia reoerfusion.
